Biography

Becca Westphal, Senior Project Manager, is a member of GG+A’s Consulting Resources team. She brings to the firm experience in fundraising, digital communications, and donor stewardship.

Prior to joining GG+A, Becca was a Graduate Assistant Communications Coordinator at the University of Dayton Human Rights Center. In this role, she led the organization’s content creation, social media presence, website management, and more. She additionally assisted in the planning and preparation of the bi-annual Romero Human Rights Award symposium, including carrying out all communications for the event series.

Becca also served as a Program Officer at Determined to Develop, a nonprofit organization promoting youth education to break the cycle of poverty in Chilumba, Malawi. She was responsible for media and donor outreach, as well as implementing girls’ empowerment projects, including facilitating regular Girls Club, Female Mentorship, and Girls Income-Generating Activities benefiting over 150 female youth.

Becca is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Dayton, where she also received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights Studies and Spanish Language and Literature.
