Dana Gresko is a Vice President of Analytics at GG+A, where she partners with clients to analyze and apply their prospect screening and client relationship management (CRM) data to enhance philanthropic performance and outcomes. She also collaborates on benchmarking and growth modelling studies to provide strategic data on opportunities for institutional growth. Dana brings nearly two decades of experience to the firm, with expertise in fundraising analytics, advancement systems, annual giving, donor retention, and more.
Prior to joining GG+A, Dana was the Senior Director of Fundraising Strategy and Analytics at the Education Advisory Board (EAB), where she managed data quality and analytics for advancement campaigns on behalf of universities across the country. In addition to presenting data management strategies and advancement best practices to higher education teams, Dana developed analytics to support annual fund programs and regularly produced and presented EAB’s benchmarking data to partner institutions. She also developed methods for using transactional gift data to improve donor loyalty and optimize how schools reach donors through the right mix of solicitation channels. A thought leader on AI and machine learning capabilities, Dana has been featured on the Non-Profit Innovators podcast, and was nominated to a firm-wide Leadership Fellowship Group for her effective management of a team of analysts, strategists, and consultants.
Previously, Dana was the Planning and Productions Manager for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, overseeing data for a direct fundraising program with $16 million in annual revenue. In this position, she applied analytics tools to implement multiple new acquisition and renewal packages, spearheading a comprehensive donor survey to improve predictive modeling strategies and reducing cost ratios in acquisition. Earlier in her career, Dana worked as the Membership Manager for the American Folk Art Museum, administering the museum’s CRM functions, successfully migrating constituent records into a new database, and supervising a team of staff and volunteers. She also designed all member communications and initiated an e-mail marketing program that successfully converted hundreds of museum visitors into donors within the first two years.
Dana completed her Bachelor of Arts in political science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She holds several volunteer roles in the nonprofit sector, serving as a trustee for the FRIENDS Association for Children, a refugee family mentor with Commonwealth Catholic Charities, and a board member for the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Richmond.
